Hanging my fall wreaths

It’s September and I can feel fall coming. I’m so ready and here for it! I had fun showing you on my instagram stories how I add a little ribbon to my new fall wreaths to add a personal touch. It’s a simple touch but it really does add something extra. I love subtle beauty in decor. Like these wreaths for example they are the perfect subtle color. They are also the right size at 24”. Too often I think people go to small on wreaths. Pick something that fits your door and looks substantial but doesn’t overtake the whole door either. I thought these really popped against the dark color of the black door I have on our new home. And I think they go well with all the white mums I’ve been loving this year in our planter baskets!

It’s the little things like wreaths on the door, the fall leaves changing in the background, the Leaves scented Bath and Body Works candle I have burning on my kitchen counter that make it look and feel cozy and warm this time of year. There’s something quiet, peaceful, and simple about Fall. It truly is my favorite season. I think I keep the decorations simple subconsciously to not add any extra stress or busyness to my favorite season. Fall you are truly the best of them all.
